Versailles: The Petit Trianon and Marie Antoinette's Hamlet

My favorite part of Versailles! The Petit Trianon was beautiful. I love me some Marie, so it was just fantastic to be there.

The Hamlet, her faux village, was very cool, too, if a little spooky, but that might have been the misty twilight.

The view from Marie Antoinette's bedroom window. Love it!

The below room was very interesting. It was off of her bedroom. Notice the mirrors and window. The mirrored section of the walls could be raised or lowered, via a system downstairs, so she could have her view, or the windows could be covered up for privacy. Take that, paparazzi!

The hamlet was a bit of a walk from the Trianon. It was fascinating. It reminded me of being at Disneyland. The town looks so quaint, and then you remember it wasn't a town at all. It was a recreated depiction of a country village. There are goats, though!
